Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows 2011

Synopsis:

Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as the world’s most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, and Jude Law returns as his formidable colleague, Dr. Watson, in “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.”

Sherlock Holmes has always been the smartest man in the room…until now. There is a new criminal mastermind at large—Professor Moriarty (Jared Harris)—and not only is he Holmes’ intellectual equal, but his capacity for evil, coupled with a complete lack of conscience, may actually give him an advantage over the renowned detective.

When the Crown Prince of Austria is found dead, the evidence, as construed by Inspector Lestrade (Eddie Marsan), points to suicide. But Sherlock Holmes deduces that the prince has been the victim of murder—a murder that is only one piece of a larger and much more portentous puzzle, designed by one Professor Moriarty.

Mixing business with pleasure, Holmes tracks the clues to an underground gentlemen’s club, where he and his brother, Mycroft Holmes (Stephen Fry) are toasting Dr. Watson on his last night of bachelorhood. It is there that Holmes encounters Sim (Noomi Rapace), a Gypsy fortune teller, who sees more than she is telling and whose unwitting involvement in the prince’s murder makes her the killer’s next target. Holmes barely manages to save her life and, in return, she reluctantly agrees to help him.

The investigation becomes ever more dangerous as it leads Holmes, Watson and Sim across the continent, from England to France to Germany and finally to Switzerland. But the cunning Moriarty is always one step ahead as he spins a web of death and destruction—all part of a greater plan that, if he succeeds, will change the course of history.

Robert Downey Jr. isi reia rolul de detectiv din lume cele mai faimoase, Sherlock Holmes, şi Jude Law se întoarce ca colegul său formidabil, Dr. Watson, în "Sherlock Holmes:. Un joc al Umbrelor"

Sherlock Holmes a fost întotdeauna cel mai deştept om în cameră... pana acum. Există un geniu criminal nou profesorul Moriarty (Jared Harris), şi nu numai că este la fel de intellectual ca si Holmes ", dar capacitatea lui de rău, cuplate cu o lipsă totală de conştiinţă, de fapt, îi poate da un avantaj fata de detectiv renumit .

Atunci când prinţul moştenitor al Austriei este găsit mort, elementele de probă, astfel cum au fost  interpretat de către Inspectorul Lestrade (Eddie Marsan), arata ca este o  sinucidere. Dar Sherlock Holmes deduce că prinţul a fost victima a unei crime care este doar o bucata dintr-un puzzle mai mare şi mult mai plin de sine, conceput de unul profesorul Moriarty.

Amestecand  afacerile cu plăcerea, Holmes gasete  indicii la clubul  domnilor sub, unde el şi fratele său, Mycroft Holmes (Stephen Fry) ii oferea  Dr. Watson în ultima noapte de burlac.  Acolo  Holmes o întâlneşte pe Sim (Noomi Rapace), un ghicitore , care vede asvaratul motiv pt care a fost omarat printul ceea ce o face pe acesta urmatoare victim a ucigasului. Holmes abia reuşeşte să ii salveze viaţa  şi, în schimb, ea este de acord fără tragere de inimă să-l ajute.

Ancheta devine tot mai periculoase, astfel ca aceasta ii conduce pe Holmes, Watson şi Sim  dealungul continentului, din Anglia în Franţa în Germania şi în cele din urmă în Elveţia. Dar viclenia Moriarty este intotdeauna cu un pas înainte ca el se invarte intr-o reţea de moarte şi distrugere, toate  fac parte a unui plan mai mare care, dacă reuşeşte, va schimba cursul istoriei.
